For the record, the Stockton Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers. The Victoria Salmon Kings (ugly name, btw) whom the Condors sent packing in the first round, are the Vancouver Canucks affiliate.

Hope the Florida Everblades do big too, that's my other favorite team, they are only an hour-and-a-half away from here, and my dad and I started seeing them during the NHL lockout when there was no Florida Panthers hockey. Go Condors and Blades!

"It's a tough one to take," Condors coach Marty Raymond said. "If anything, I thought we played a very good game, executed the game plan. At times we got too cute. Although we had 45 shots, at times we waited for the perfect goal.

"They were just putting pucks on net and going to rebounds and that's how they scored the winning goal."

I love how there's a picture of goulet and Robinson. Probably right after that Robinson takes goulet out of the game with a dirty boarding hit. He gets a 5 min major and a 10 min game misconduct. It's low when stockton is relaying on hurting our best players to win games. Heck there was so many dirty hits on Calder Friday night that didn't get called and by what Marty said in that article above looks like they were at it again last night. If condors want to win this series they need to step up the phyiscality. At that Matt thomas needs to have his players play clean that dirty jerk of a coach. /rant

That was the mantra coming from Condors practice Tuesday morning at Rabobank Arena.

Had the Condors done that Friday and Saturday nights, they might well be heading to Stockton for tonight's Game 3 with a 2-0 lead.
