Honestly, I didn't think Phoenix could take eliminate SJS in the 2nd round, but I think Detroit can.

on the other hand... can we separate the love-hate relationship forming between Hawks and Nucks for some time and send them on a mission against Wings and Sharks?
seriously though the lesser of two evils is the Wings... but you will never hear me say "go" and "wings" in the same sentence...

Right winger Ian Laperriere is likely out for the remainder of the season, general manager Paul Holmgren announced Tuesday. According to doctors, Laperriere suffered a contusion of the brain and mild concussion when he was hit with a slap shot above his right eye in the third period of the Flyers' 3-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils in Game 5. He needed 60 to 70 stitches to close the cut. - philadelphiaflyers.com
The team held and optional skate prior to Game 7 against the Red Wings. The following players took part - Lombardi (short 10 min. skate), Nokelainen, Vandermeer, Bryzgalov, Schneider and LaBarbera - TSN
Goaltender Cory Schneider has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. Schneider, 24, played in 60 games for the Moose this season, posting a 35-23-2 record. He registered four shutouts and recorded a .919 save percentage. In two games with Vancouver this season, he recorded a .915 save percentage. - Media Release

Year after year, the Wings show they are just a great organization. They have the best GM (and great scouts) and the best coach in the NHL. I'm jealous.
