Hi guys and girls time to do it again!

2006 it was started. Olympics were in Torino & IHWC took place in Latvia and Riga. We had our The Game, Spēle here. I myself won the Olympic guessing game. Later in the spring Pavlo took over and won the World Championships guessing game Spēle (the Game in Latvian language). Our top guessers/players were:

Looking at these standings... It's a piece of our history. Those were the posters, those were the days... I donated the prize and Pavlo won this 17 kgs weight trophy. We had our first plates in the trophy.

We did not do the game for Moscow worlds and the ones in Canada & Switzeland after that. Let's try it now.

Rules are simple:

1. I will start the thread.
2. Predictions are made in one thread. (I will count points once a day - life is so much more busier these days.)
3. Points counted like this:

- guessing the winner - 5 points
- guessing the amount of goals scored by one team - 1 extra point
- guessing the exact score - 3 extra points
- guessing OT(SO) - 2 extra points
- guessing SO - 1 extra point
- guessing a scorer (everyone has 3 guesses per team per night) - 2 points for every goal, 1 for an assist.

4. Predicting ends 5 minutes before the games start in IRL.
5. Who gets the most points is the winner.

Points:

ahtikullervo: 5 for winner + 2 points for Carter (SO goal - only the goal that counts as a game winner counts in SO as a poin taking one) + 1 point for Goc (assist) + 1 for Felski (assist) = 9 points

xxx: 1 point for correct US goals (2), + 2 point for guessing that game goes OT + 2 points for A. Greene (goal), + 1 point foe Felski (assist) = 6 points

somebody: 5 points for guessing right score, 1 point for Greene (should be 2 for goal, but as there are 2 Greene's in USA then points are deevided by 2), + 1 for Felski (assist)= 7 points

NB! Predictin the big scorers can be even more helpful than just guessing the winner or right score...
