TSN's Ice Chips

QUOTE
bos.png Bruins forward David Krejci suffered a broken wrist in Wednesday's victory and will miss the remainder of the playoffs. - TSN

chi.png Forward Troy Brouwer admitted Wednesday his concerns for his father have partially affected his play. He was a healthy scratch for Game 3 against the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday. Brouwer missed the last four games of the regular season tending to his father, who suffered a blood clot in his brain. - Chicago Sun-Times

det.png Head coach Mike Babcock said Patrick Eaves (hyperextended right elbow) won't play in Game 4 on Thursday. Babcock might use Mattias Ritola on the fourth line instead of Jason Williams, who hasn't provided the offence or physical presence they seek. - Detroit Free Press

pitt.png Injured forwards Jordan Staal and Bill Guerin both skated at Thursday morning's practice. According to head coach Dan Bylsma, Staal is game time decision for tonight's contest, while Guerin is not probable. Guerin himself says he is targeting a return for Game 5. - TSN

I don't know. The chum is definitely in the water...

3-0 lead in a series, and home ice advantage. Seems like a tall order for the chicken wings.

As far as I know, there's only one team with the kind of playoff portfolio that could possibly turn this SNAFU, and you can't spell SNAFU without SAN jose....

Very true. But I don't think they'll mess up bad enough to lose the series. Lose the sweep, that's a definite possibility, but not the series.

Franzen with 3 of those (almost 4 but one went off Bertuzzi's shin it seems).

4 goals on 7 shots is pretty good for the Dead Things, I hope the Sharks can have something on target soon.

We're not listening to tonight's games as we're following the Election Results on the net/TV. It was a General Election in the UK today so that's grabbing our attention at the moment as voting finished at 10pm. Hence why I'm reading the stuff on NHL.com.

Just for the record, it wasn't a typo. tongue.gif If their fans can call the ducks "sucks" or "d_cks" than I'll call the sharks the sharts.

Wow. I retract my previous statement about it not being possible that they will blow the series. It's possible, however unlikely.

Damn Franzen had 6 points (4 goals and 2 assists).

Now he just has to do that three more times.
