If Chicago can get it done, they need to step it up in the next round to eliminate the Sharks. I don't care who wins at this point as long as its not the Sharks.

If it ends up being a Sharks-'Hawks final, I will be ecstatic.

Shane O'Brien just skated off, bleeding pretty badly. I sure hope he's okay.

Defenceman Dennis Seidenberg took his first skate in four weeks Saturday, but he’s not ready to return from a lacerated tendon in his left forearm. Adam McQuaid is recovering from a leg injury and is day-to-day. - Boston Globe
Head coach Mike Babcock revealed following the 2-1 loss to the Sharks in Game 5 that defenceman Brad Stuart had damaged his MCL when he was hit by San Jose defenceman Rob Blake in the first period of Game 4. - Detroit Free Press
Defenceman Hall Gill suffered a laceration on his leg in the third period on Saturday after he was hit by Pittsburgh forward Chris Kunitz. After Gill went down, it looked like he was stepped on and was cut. Head coach Jacques Martin would only say that Gill will be re-evaluated on Sunday. - Globe and Mail
General manager Paul Holmgren said there was "nothing to report" on winger Dan Carcillo, who missed the third period and overtime of Game 4 because of a knee injury. Carcillo will apparently play Monday. - Philadelphia Inquirer
Defenceman Niclas Wallin was in the lineup Saturday night for the first time since the opening game of the Sharks' first-round playoff series against the Colorado Avalanche. Since then, he has been sidelined with an unspecified lower-body injury. - San Jose Mercury News
Pavol Demitra is back in for Tanner Glass. The Canucks didn't take any line rushes this morning. Their defense pairings appear to have returned to what they normally are. - TSN
