It can't be announced soon enough! Thank goodness the schedule is coming out earlier this season. It'll make the much too loooooooooong off-season seem a little bit shorter.

QUOTE
-- next season's schedule will be released on June 22, a couple weeks earlier than normal.

QUOTE
It will be a busy fall for the NHL. It will send six teams to Europe for its annual Premiere Games, the league's across-the-pond, regular-season kickoff initiative now in its fourth year. For 2010-11, two of those teams will also play exhibition games against Kontinental Hockey League teams. Carolina will visit St. Petersburg on Oct. 4, and Phoenix will head to Riga, Latvia, for a game on Oct. 6.

QUOTE
All 30 teams will release their schedules for the upcoming regular season on Tuesday while exhibition games will drop on Monday. The Ducks could not release any details of their schedule ahead of time as they were instructed by the league not to do so, according to a club official.

Hahaha, I know, huh? Nothing else seems to be moving and I think Kyle Chipchura's contract extension has been discussed as much as it can be, haha.

Meanwhile I'll be flying over to Sweden to catch the Sharks and Blue Jackets biggrin.gif

Should hopefully make up for me missing the Ducks when they came over to London a couple of years ago. Although I'm still gutted that I missed that.

I gotta think this is dictated by the NHL. There's no reason that the Ducks, and every other NHL team, wouldn't have issued a press release with their preseason schedule earlier this morning unless they were instructed not to for some reason.

Are people really getting upset over pre-season announcements? By tomorrow the entire season will be available. I guess it must be a slow Monday for some. anaoa4.gif

Assuming that the Ducks first preseason game is September 21st that is 92 days from now. It's been 71 days since the Ducks last played which means that we are not far from the halfway point in between games. thumbsup.gif

The Red Wings home opener is against the Ducks on October 8th. That could very well be the Ducks first game of the year as well.

yeah i thought the same...

worse yet, you think the NHL really gives them 3 days off between Nashville and the Home opener? I'm betting we see a game in there somewhere.

You're probably right. I'm thinking a game in Columbus, Dallas, Chicago or St. Louis on the 11th.
