TSN's Ice Chips

QUOTE
chi.png The Blackhawks are expected to stick to their Game 5 lines, when coach Joel Quenneville split up his top line of Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Dustin Byfuglien.
Marian Hossa was kept off the ice Tuesday before the Hawks left for Philadelphia. Quenneville said he was just resting. Hossa was a minus-3 in Game 5 and held without a point when he played on the Hawks' new top line with Toews and Tomas Kopecky. - Chicago Sun Times

Winger Andrew Ladd will play tonight. - TSN

phi.png Coach Peter Laviolette said he was unlikely to opt for five defensemen and 13 forwards instead of the usual six defensemen and 12 forwards. That would have opened up a spot for Dan Carcillo, but he is likely to be scratched again for tonight's game.
After practicing on Tuesday, Daniel Briere reiterated that the cut below his right eye, which was caused by a high-stick from Duncan Keith in Game 5, will not affect him tonight. - Philadelphia Inquirer

Yeah I really don't care for the NBC crew. Doc is great, but Olczyk is enough to make me want to jam a pen in my ears. Him being affiliated with the Hawks is enough to drive me crazy. Be neutral for crying out loud. If you can't be neutral, then NBC needs to find someone else. And Roenick... Oh my goodness.

I'm happy that Chicago won, aside from Hossa. I really didn't want him to win it, but other than that I'm very pleased with Chicago winning. Though I kinda wanted Philly to win just because of the ad against Pronger. Wanted to see him hoist the cup in Chicago. Oh well. It was a great series.
