I don't think so.
I think what we do about it will be.

I don't mean to get off topic, but Murray should have signed Wiz BEFORE Scott announced his retirement.
I think what we do about it will be.
You think Teemu is gonna wait until AFTER we react to this move? I sure hope not.

No I think he will wait until they tell him what our plans are... maybe they already have.

I'm sure Murray and Selanne have spoken already.

Doubtful. Selanne has asid he will play if the team remains competitive and doesnt go into a rebuild. I think the bigger factor is what actions the Ducks take to replace Scotty that will determine Teemu's future.

Now it's up to Murray to put together a blue line that can play.
Dude, seriously? The guy carried a defunct blue line, and you're going to bring him down on the day he's going to retire?

Yes, seriously. And why not? Scotty played awful last season and I've said it before already: He wasn't himself at all last year. The part about him carrying a defunct blue line...well, you do know the saying about how the one-eyed man is king among the blind, right?

Thanks for all the great memories!
But at the same time I am glad he is finally retired so we can move on to the next great chapter in Ducks history.
I just hope Murray can make a move at the draft to get us a Kaberle or another 1 or 2 guy so we can get back in the game and hopefully Teemu will see that we are serious in competing. I can imagine losing Scott, Teemu and Saku in one week! ARHH. Scary!
