Before Scott Niedermayer arrived, the Ducks had three postseason appearances, and four playoff series wins, to show for their first 11 seasons of existence.

In five years since, the Ducks have made the playoffs four times, won seven series, and captured their only Stanley Cup in 2007 - thanks to Niedermayer's Conn Smythe Award-winning performance.
