If we got rid of Blake and we were going to role three lines that can play in the offensive zone (I guess that's basically a scoring line), I'd be ok with it. I just don't know where Ryan or Lupul (whoever the odd man out) is going to be, and it can't be on a third line that is a shutdown style. I guess either way we're in that boat. We have 7 forwards that can score (to a lesser extent).

And the price has to be right. Anything more than 1.5 mil is too much. 1 year only.

Are you kidding me?
There is NO WAY I'd ever want he-who-shall-remain-unnamed to ever wear Ducks colors again!
Sure, he WAS a fan favorite until ...
BUT, I don't want him for ANY reason now.
He was over rated back in the day and he's over rated now!
He brings nothing to OUR team that we don't already have.
He was not personable. He was not amicable. He was not anything but a person out for himself!
How many millions did Eisner give him to play for us? 10 mil? Yes, a year!
And HOW many years did he take advantage of that? TOO many in my estimation!
I do NOT want him back at any price!
If he wishes to don Ducks colors again then he better be payin' US and not us payin' him.

End of ranting.gif

I have a question for folks on here. And this is just me thinking to myself, but feel free to think along. If Teemu was pleased with what the Ducks do through FA or trading and goes to the Ducks and says "I'll come back for another year but only if Saku and Paul are playing along side me" what do you say to that? I'm assuming Saku wouldn't be a problem with Ducks brass and the fans here and could get signed without any problems, but what about Paul. What would people do/think if he said that? Just curious! ots.gif

Me? I don't think Teemu will/would say s* about he-who-shall-remain-unnamed!
Now, Saku, enh. I don't know.
I believe that Teemu is more concerned about the team than an individual player.
I could be wrong but we'll see.

I think if Koivu doesn't re-sign and Selanne can get Kariya signed, it will happen. Otherwise the Ducks will also lose Selanne.

Oh, and I do mind.

I hope he ends up being another used car they bring on to MIN's roster as their next gimmick.

I don't want him back here. He certainly doesn't deserve to ever put on a Ducks sweater again.

And now that I think of it, he's probably trying to get on the CHI roster or PIT's as his last-ditch effort at the holy grail.

If Teemu said he'd only play if PK and Saku came back I'd say have a nice retirement Teemu.

Does it mean we have to bring back PK as a player? Can we bring him back as one of the street team and then operate a dunking booth at every event?

We should make a poll:How much would you pay to dunk PK?

Closing since it's no longer a valid argument.
