Because maybe he loves playing and doesn't want to give it up. A lot of players regret retiring as they had the game in their life for so long, they feel lost without it and don't have anything else to do.

To me it sounds a good question and I have a good answer: he knows there will be no games and he just exploits the club. Money for nothing. Just like Scott Stevens! butbut.gif

dontgetit.gif I don't think the players will get paid if there is a lockout...don't quote me on it, but I think I have read that in several places.

Adreychuk is a great player. I was surprised when Colorado dumped him. He still plays better than a lot of the young kids. He has passion and fire every time he hits the ice. No reason for him to quit. the team bnefits from his strong leadership.

When he was with Colorado, many of the younger players commented on all the diffeent "tricks"of the game he taught them. They looked to him as a mentor.

biggrin.gif I for one will enjoy seeing him play again.......if the NHL will let me..... crybaby.gif crybaby.gif crybaby.gif crybaby.gif

Yeah but with the NHL crumbling in on itself at the moment it's a strange signing. If I was Dave I would have retired. But who knows what goes on in the heads of hockey players smile.gif
