It's a fun place to go, but you better behave b/c I'm watching you people! They have frog legs, turkey legs, bbq, corn on the cob, cinn rolls, beer, chocolate covered fruit, fried everything...lol. There's also games, rides, the farm, the big horse, the big steer, and lots of stuff to buy.

The food is far from appealing-sounding. Then again, the food at any fair is bound to leave the consumer stuck in the bathroom (for one reason or another) for hours upon hours. . . Maybe even days.

Never was a big fan of the fair... The sooner the fair is done the sooner the gun show comes back

Working the fair is fun and exhausting. I get to see some of the most facinating people on the planet. People watching > going on rides.

I've always found it much more amusing to observe people. Quite the interesting bunches of human beings attend those sort of events. I love going on the rides and being buckled in by a middle-aged man with some teeth rotting and some holes where teeth are supposed to be, all the while having the demeanor of someone who has obviously done hard jail time and has seen some drugs in his day.

We went on Friday, but skipped the deep fried butter. Jeremy tried the deep fried snickers, but wasn't overly impressed. No wonder there is a detox booth at the fair with all the unhealthy food choices. Although I did enjoy the funnel cake, which I haven't had in several years, so I didn't feel too guilty.

Found they also had happy hour prices on some food - $1 for lemonade, corn dog, cotton candy and popcorn between 1pm and 4pm.

Only 2 more weeks to go! My sleeping pattern is soooo messed up.
