Forget who is the best and who was the best fighter. Who is your favorite of all time. Be honest. Kariya lovers stand up and be counted. No one is allowed to say JF Jomphe, that's just not funny.

I really like him too. I was a fan of the Red Wings before the Ducks existed. When we got #91 I was bouncing off the walls.
I have lots of faves. I've never met a hockey player who was rude or anything. They're great men.

Teemu Selanne....with J.S. Giguere and Guy Hebert a close second...and a fave from 2003 our Stumpy!!! He added so much to our run to the Stanley Cup Finals..wished we could have won him that Cup.

Teemu - one day not only will they raise a banner with the #8 posted on it, there should be and might be a statue of the "Flash". Could be a decade or two but it would be appropriate. He is by far the most adored Duck in their history and it is not even close.

Gotta say now...It has to be Selanne. I literally teared up watching him hoist the Cup. It was something I never thought I'd get to see...

Absolutely LOVED Pronger, and if he had to go anywhere - glad it was Philly. Giguere, Hebert - loved 'em both.

But Kariya - watching him toil with the other teams, knowing he should have been here for that Cup - that sucks. And I'll tell ya - when we lost to the Devils in the Finals...Man, when he came back from the locker room after that vicious hit by Stevens, and absolutely BLASTED that shot by Brodeur...I get chills thinkin' about it now. I still remember the call on TV... "OFF THE FLOOR...ON THE BOARD...PAUL KARIYA!"

For me, Todd Ewen is the reason I'm a Ducks fan today, with Terry Yake being my favorite player before Kariya arrived.
All time though, I'll go with Selänne. Getzlaf is close, but the loyalty Teemu has shown to us is nothing short of amazing.

Not the best to ever play for ANA, not the most appreciated and not the most playing time but for me is George Parros. Love the Scotty's, Jiggy's, Pronger's, Selanne's etc but for me Parros is just fun.

But I will have to say Teemu is #2, I have felt more emotion watching him play and achieve, more than any other player.

Now for the "Most Hated Anaheim Duck ever" thread...
