Has anybody gone to the comic con this weekend? I have. Some interesting stuff they got there!
If anyone has gone this year, what were your favorite things to see?

He looks more like the Penguin dressed up to look like Batman.
The contrast between Tron and the sequel should be interesting ...
QUOTE
Jeff Bridges played Sam's father, Kevin Flynn, in the 1982 original and plays the avatar of his young self and his present self in the new film.
When asked what it was like to play a thirtysomething version of himself in addition to his presently-aged self, the 60-year-old actor said: “It was pretty wild, pretty psychedelic.”

I'm in San Diego now.
avoided the Convention Center area like the plague today...
Still managed to see 2 fat batmans (one was female... i think), Green lantern high on something and more nerds and mental cases than you could shake a stick at, out and about around town..
Don't get me wrong I do computer work for a living, am dying to see tron legacy and am proud to be a bit of a nerd... but the level of social-misfit-nerd-dom that is in and around SD for Comic Con is like a case book of various mental illnesses...
Comic Con was cool... 10 years or so ago.... now it's actually frightening.
Sorry, I'm really a bit jaded after trying to explain to my kids why the guy in green spandex was flailing about while arguing with his, apparently hard of hearing, imaginary arch-nemesis while walking down the street Ocean Beach...

Yeah, theres alot of weirdos. It was my first time going this year and I went with my cousins.
Ever since more celebrities started going to advertise themselves or shows, it has gone down hill. My brother went about 7 years ago and he said it wasn't as bad back then.

I wish I had the money to go but alas. If I did go I would be high on the Green Lantern stuff.
