First 10 games:
Visnovsky/Lydman
Wisniewski/Sbisa
Brookbank/Fowler
Next 72 games:
Visnovsky/Lydman
Wisniewski/Sbisa
Brookbank/Mikkelson
If that's what we enter the season with...I am at least willing to see what they can do.

or is it

anyway... seems like a fair deal to both sides. that's a tiny bit higher than i thought he was worth but i guess the intangibles like familiarity withe the system about covers that difference.
now to Bobby and a top 2 defenseman (those i believe will trigger Teemu instantly) and we are good to start the season.
is it october yet?

That just doesnt scream "CONTENDER" to me but if thats were left with hopefully they can pull something off. But just by look that is much worse than our already poor D from last year

Agreed 100%. Luckily there's still at least six weeks before training camp for Bob Murray to make more moves.

Question is, will Wiz end up being a move? If you think about it.... You sign Wiz so that he is a trade-able asset and dont let him walk for nothing if Arbitration doesnt go your way then once you get a small deal done you package him up and ship him out. Not saying thats whats going on here but Lydman and Wiz have such similar roles I wouldnt doubt what might happen.
I love Wiz and i hope he stays, proves himself and earns a longer contract next season, but with the way the blue line is now I'm not sure what to think.

I'll say this - he's a lot more tradeable now that teams know exactly what they would have to pay him and for how long. I think the Ducks will keep him to at least start the season.

Also signed today: Wheeler and White
Can Ward be far behind?

We'll probably know pretty quick. If a big story appears on the Ducks webpage, and Brady makes a big deal of it, he's staying. If it flies under the radar for a day or two, it probably means a trade had been, or is being, arranged.

i dont think so, Brady hasnt been to active on the website lately regardless, so i dont know

Eh i think we will still see a story on the website either way and I dont think were going to see something happen right away, my guess is if something is to happen with Wiz it will be a little bit and like TL said most likey we start the season with him.

Neither the Ducks, nor the OCR has even reported the signing yet

haha This just in, "10min after signing James Wizniewski the Anaheim Ducks have traded him in a package deal for Tomas Kaberle, other players in the deal to be named later"

Which only adds to the oddity of the Ducks breaking the Fowler signing yesterday.....Must have had a lot of caffeine yesterday.

Exactly.
I'd still like to see it end up being:
Visnovsky/Lydman
Wisniewski/Sutton
Brookbank/Sbisa
but I'll take what I can get
