This could lead to more. Get a 3rd from the NYI. Send it and a little tiny something more to Toronto and get our original third back. Then we have our picks for an offer sheet. Just a thought.

Wow, a third rounder; realy?
He seems like a whiny little jerk to me who has an inflated opinion of himself, but a third round pick? I would think he would be worth more than that.

I actually like this move. Showing that Murray has a plan and is in charge and not going to let anyone d* him around.

I say we use that $3.25 million and sign Sutton.
Trade Mikkelson and that 3rd rounder just acquired and ship them to NJ for Salvador.

C'mon, Bob...make another trade and bring us a quality defenseman!
EDIT: At least that 3rd round pick should be a good one. I expect it to be near the top of the 3rd round which gives the Ducks at least three picks in the first 70 selections.
2nd EDIT: Unless we got the Avalanche's 3rd round pick which the Islanders got in a trade at this years draft.
