EDMONTON (CP) - The Edmonton Oilers stand to lose $13 million this season if the team doesn't take the ice as a result of the NHL lockout, says board chair Cal Nichols.

I wonder if that's Canadian, and how it compares to what they might have lost if they had played.

The Senators have already said they'll lose less by not playing than they would have by playing.

blink.gif And how much will the "little people" loose because of the lock out?? The ones who rely on the income to just scrape by??? The owners talk millions while many talk about just keeping a roof over their head.

Ah, the two differing universes we live in...... dontgetit.gif
