Chicago Blackhawks owner Bill Wirtz says the current NHL lockout is the "saddest thing in the world" but he stopped short of offering any more opinions on the subject.

oh really...the 'saddest thing in the world'


Then what about his LACK of funding for his team...or the way he wont allow Hawks home games on TV...or the JACKED-UP ticket prices he offers to fans...


But if he really wants to see some of the 'saddest things in the world' then he needs to go to south and central Africa and see how AIDS has ripped families and countries apart...
He need to go to the poorer sections of his beloved Chicago and see poverty FIRST hand...
Take a trip in his expensive suites and visit orphanages all over the world and see children without the hope of ever growing up in a loving home.

Sorry I am going to stop now as I know I could fill several pages with things that are "the saddest thing in the world"...this is just another wonderful reason why I have NO RESPECT for Wirtz...not only his lack of love for his team but his inane comments...

No wonder so many people think sports fans dot have their priorities straight with comments like this...
