Please let these rumors be true! pray.gif

QUOTE
There just might be some hope for the hockey season.

While the NHL players' union has been denying it is not currently preparing a new proposal designed to at least reopen talks with the league, the rumor won't go away.

In fact, it is growing. The union is quietly working on a proposal and will introduce it at a players meeting to be held early in December, possibly Dec. 6, several sources told the Philadelphia Daily News.

So, basically this means we could have NHL by next season? What's the point of playing this year?

ana-ban.gif Hey I miss NHL hockey and would love for a shortened season...who knows what could happen....I just plain miss hockey and want more of it....plus it would make for a more energetic season meaning each game means even more....less games fewer mistakes allowed...either contend or be left behind.....I want to see the Anaheim Mighty Ducks!!! However tomorrow I watch Getzlaf live in Portland and that should suffice for one night....Get the NHL season going as a holiday present for me guys.... ana-ban.gif

Fair and balanced??

Bill Daly on Bargaining in Good Faith

Union claim: The League rejected the Union's proposal "out of hand," and is refusing to negotiate in good faith.

Union claim: The NHL is not interested in negotiating in good faith with the Union, its sole interest is in "breaking the Union" by refusing to bargain, declaring an impasse, unilaterally implementing a salary cap, and using replacement players.

Daly's responses
