Find out what the coaches have been up during the lock out: Western Coaches Fill the Spare Hours

Babcock also managed to get out into the woods for a rare fall hunting trip with his buddies. Instead of looking longingly at hunting magazines during a normal NHL season, the self-described red neck was out with rifle and hunting bow chasing down white tail deer in western Canada and wild boar in Ohio.

Great article! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Now will they do the eastern conference coaches?

Most likely I think they will try the other conferences' coaches.

biggrin.gif That was a great link hockey2k. Thanks. I know on the news they showed Babcock on Thanksgiving serving food to the needy. I thought that was really nice and good PR for the Ducks.

Yeah I saw that too. Babcock dishing out food to Fedorov, Giguere, Sykora, all the poor and needy who are trying to have a league without a cap. So sad.

It looks like they ran the article with the Eastern coaches earlier and I missed it! Here's the link: What the Eastern Coaches are up to

Sunflower seeds. That's what Lindy Ruff will remember most from the NHL lockout. "You gently spit them into an empty coffee cup," he explained. "It keeps you busy."
