I haven't tried any of the following, but I have been the ringleader for various random surprises. I'm just real nice to everybody in between my pranks. wink.gif I wonder if there's any correlation between my pranks and management keeping me really busy on projects ... hmm.gif

I'm never showing these to anyone at my work and pray they don't ever see them. I can see this happening. Yikes! Funny when it's someone else - not so funny when it is you!

Aw come on MrsB! What's the fun in that?! It's called a team morale boosting exercise. biggrin.gif

I've been "hit" on occasion, but they all know that I don't get mad ... I get even! wicklaugh.gif

I had a coworker who got the newspaper job - wasn't as neatly wrapped, but same effect. Of course, she was the newspaper/print buyer for an advertising agency - so it also made sense. biggrin.gif

Craig was well impressed with the tin foil one. I hope this hasn't given him any ideas for his office. smile.gif

In the not so distant past, we've had a foil "team morale boosting exercise" and then also a plastic wrap exercise. biggrin.gif

Just a little ingenuity goes a loooong way into converting mischevious acts into "team morale building exercises" appropriate behavior wink.gif

sad.gif The State felt that if you had time to do "pranks", you were not earning your pay!! Very fussy they were about how time was used when on the clock. dry.gif

Aahhh, but our team was very diligent at performing the "exercises" either during lunch or after hours. Plus, not all the "exercises" were as involved as the ones pictured above. Many were as simple and quick as just hanging signs and streamers with just a bit of personalization that would let the "victim" know that we had some inside info. wink.gif

Oh yeah, fun and a definite morale booster all the way around ... especially when our managers were the targets. wink.gif We just made sure that Facilities never had to get involved ... that would've been the end of us.

hmm.gif 50, eh? Does he have a good sense of humor? You only want to enhance is desk and not his entire office, right? I'll get the CPU spare cycles working on this once you let me know some more info on what your boss likes and doesn't like.

I'll get the CPU spare cycles working on this once you let me know some more info on what your boss likes and doesn't like. For example, one of our managers let it slip that he just hated ants. Sooooo, one night we snuck into his office and stuck ant stickers all over his office (computer, phone, whiteboard, clock, pictures, everything!) ... and after we locked up, we even left him a clue by leaving an ant sticker trail around his door lock. biggrin.gif

Ooo, my boss loves me, has a great sense of humour, also teenager bathroom humour sometimes. He HATES spiders! Especially their webs!

Then I think you already know what I'm going to suggest ...

Find some of that Halloween spider web decoration stuff, some come with spiders included, and
stretch that all over his desk, desk items, desk drawers, and chair. Sprinkle some spiders onto the web. Some other fake flying bugs would also be a nice touch tangled up in the web. Cut out letters spelling "Happy 50th Birthday boss" and spread those out on the web. You can come up with your own nice or gag gifts to wrap in black paper and webbing to put underneath the web on his desk.

(If you need a source for the webbing and spiders, PM me)
