And while you're grabbing Goodenow, grab the little weasel Bettman. He is the one responsible for letting the teams move, he is the one that runs the NHL, makes the rules, has allowed it to spread to cities that are not hockey towns, he has implemented rules that for many have ruined the game.
While Goodenow has led the players down the wrong path for sure, Bettman is the one that has truly ruined the game in so many ways.

Finger pointing, it's always easier than looking honestly at a situation that has enough blame to go around. As long as no one is assuming any part of the responsability for this disaster, nothing will get getter. No matter what is finally agreed on, things will just deteriorate in no time flat if no one is holding themselves responsible for their part in the mess.!!
