QUOTE
The NHL Players' Association came out of its information session with its membership with a stronger resolve than ever, due in part to an apologetic Jeremy Roenick. The Flyers forward told The New York Post that he blundered publicly in the weeks leading up to the cancellation of the NHL season by discussing talking directly to top league officials and questioning the union's direction.

The sounds going on inside JR's head........too many concussions...

At least he had the guts to speak his mind, and later admit he was wrong. It's better than being a mindless drone that just parrots the party line, or claim to be misquoted.

He doesn't seem to take life so seriously. I even got some entertainment out of that Center Ice promo thing he did with some other players a couple of years ago, when Center Ice was a freebie for a couple of weks - "Living with Roenick" or something like that.

Year, Anson Carter was his roomie in that promo. JR was cooking dinner for friends. In another one, Anson had the tv looked up in the bathroom or closet.

I love the one where JR cooks a roast but it's done before the game they are watching is over, and he has to bully his "roomates" to the dinner table! biggrin.gif
