Yeah get on with our sale, I'm beginning to think they're deliberately forgetting about us, hmm.gif

I guess it just takes them a while...this Canucks sale was announced back in November and they just finalized it now! rolleyes.gif

Geez, so we have at least four months before we get to see what the Samuelis will do to bring us back into the Pond?? rolleyes.gif

It appears that next month's GM meeting will just be talking about opening up the game and improving play ...
QUOTE
Campbell will chair the rules part of the meeting, which will include a review of the new rules used in the AHL this season. GMs want to see how the AHL has done with some of its new wrinkles this season, including automatic icing, tag-up offside, limiting the goalie's ability to play the puck behind the net as well as wider blue-lines and penalty shootouts.

When the game resumes, the NHL needs to entice fans back into the seats and in front of their TV sets. But at the same time, the league must proceed with some caution.

''You better be careful,'' Campbell said. ''Let's not bring back a glowing puck and do the wrong thing.''

This is "boot camp marketing." We take away what you love, ignore you, treat you disrespectfully, give you nothing in return, and still expect you to put down your dollars on tickets or TV (or both in many cases). It's called co-dependency in cases of abuse. mad.gif

For some team's fans more so than others. At least I'm still earning 5% interest on my full season payment and will get a $100 cash bonus when it's time to renew. Rather measly in comparison to the cold shoulder treatment we've gotten, but that's part of cost certainty. dry.gif

Geez, am I a glutton for punishment or what?!
I want NHL hockey back at the Pond!

No, no, it's okay DTP. really.

Hey, I have a great idea. Stop the clutch and grab, and hockey will be better! We went to an Icedogs game on Saturday and it was fun to see the guys skating up and down the ice playing, versus hanging around between the blue lines for half a game. I took some Stanley Cup and Scott Gomez and goalies pics thta I will pst, but that's a nother topic and another place.

Yeah, this Nucks sale was announced some time ago, so we shall be waiting for some time before we get results of the Ducks sale.
