Peter Nordstrom played like 2 seconds as a Bruin some 7 or 8 seasons ago!! i guess that qualifies as an NHLer!!!!

Yes, Forsberg is a world class diver, but if you read the story he was targeted by the guy who hit him. Sounds pretty bad if they are questioning being able to play six weeks from now.

I was hoping to watch him dive during the Worlds (if they made it to the finals). Oh, well, there are plenty of others to watch doing that little maneuver!! 
Maybe he can now spend more time on his modelling career.

Peter Forsberg is one of the best players in the NHL.
The latest news is his Father says this could be career ending. That's too bad.
As for divers, yeah they are plenty, but perhaps if the NHL hadn't allowed clutch and grab as the way to allow the expansion teams to compete, the great players wouldn't have to resort to diving. I know that sometimes Kariya would, casue the refs would never call anything when players would wrap themselves all over him.
I hope we get to see a game or two of the Worlds. although I doubt ESPN would be interested in showing them. hehehehehehehe

I'm so sorry about Peter. I just love the big Viking, dives and all!! He's one real good player (and cute to boot)....it would be too bad if he won't return to playing. I sure would miss him.

According to the Denver Post the injury isn't bad as it was initially reported.

That critter only seems to appear when you gals start swooning over your favorite hockey players. I have no idea whether she can be tempted by orange root vegetables or fiscally responsible outings.
