Maybe you can slip some Rohypnol into their drinks, make them sign on the dotted line, and we'll have a CBA, draft, and NHL season!

Maybe they'll reenact the old movie "An affair to remember" or the Sleeping in Seattle one where Bettman says I'll meet you at the top of the Empire State Building. If Goodenow shows up its a deal if not no deal is made.

"The NHL made two proposals to the NHLPA today during a meeting in New York, but it appears that the offers did little to impress the union. One was a de-linked proposal with a team salary cap of $37.5 million, five million dollars less than the league's last offer in Feburary. The other was a linked proposal at 54 per cent of league revenues...."

Speaking of Irbe (I'll have to find the story and send to you Veca), a reporter wrote something of Irbe, "Is he even still in the NHL?" I thought of you Veca, and the boiling blood......

Why don't they all just go play tag on the railroad tracks??? 
As for the wee studly one, he was traded by the Canes to the Bluejackets so I guess he's in the NHL as much as any of the players are...
