It aperas that Gretzky has put his house in CA up for sale. So if you've got about $25,000,000 to blow on a house then feel free to make an offer. >Here< is a link a page if you want a look.

Any one know how you can have 7 1/2 bathrooms?

I'll have to pass on it even though it's a great house, if I was one of those rich players refusing a salary cap, maybe I'd buy it. dribble.gif

The more bathrooms, the more toilets to clean and scrub. Yuck. Besides, I'd rather spend my $25 million elsewhere.

There was a little blurb about Gretzky selling his house in the LA Times Real Estate section yesterday, but they didn't show any pictures of the house. Wow. Gretzky's partnership agreement with the Coyotes is ending next year (?) and there is speculation that he might take some sort of position with the Rangers.

I wonder if the kids are allowed to play roller hockey in the house? hockey2.gif

A half a bathroom in American real estate speak means a bathroom with only a sink and a toilet, no shower or tub to bathe in. A full bathroom has everything.

If that's not what you meant, just carry on and ignore this. smile.gif

bye2.gif Just a bit much for me.....(price and size). To have a place that big you have to hire strangers to clean your house. Strangers going through my personal stuff.....I don't think so!!! I want something just a bit more cozy. rolleyes.gif

biggrin.gif Seven is about right if you have serious intestine problems or are a weight conscious person who needs to use throwing up or laxatives to remain thin. Many do you know so you can't have too many bathrooms handy...... dribble.gif

Considering the square footage, you would want more bathrooms so you wouldn't have to run as far to find one. Plus, don't they have like four or five kids? Believe me, there are times, we really need one toilet per person in this house. And if you have boys, you want one for them and one for everyone else. (Even daily cleaning can't prevent it from getting gross.)

It's not the seat issue, it's the aiming issue and I'll leave it at that.

What's with the interior decorating? Edwardian? blink.gif Looks like a museum. How can you live like that? Where's the widescreen TV and pool table? I'd prefer something much more comfortable.
