QUOTE
Grimson said his first go-round with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 1993-95, in the team's first two seasons was another high point.
"For me and a lot of other guys, we were a collection of third- and fourth-line players from around the league, plus some free agents. It was a unique opportunity to play a lot more and with more responsibility than with the teams from which we came. We were all thrown together in a different setting for same purpose. It was a neat brotherhood. My years there were very enjoyable. The fans were terrific, very responsive from the start."
Grimson won most of his tussles, due in part to his extremely long reach.
"My shirt size? No one ever asked me that but you're right, I have a 38-inch sleeve. My knuckles just clear the ground," Grimson said with a booming laugh.
Now, he needs those long arms to carry law books.
