The NHL has not even officially acknowledged that Bertuzzi's reinstatement hearing with Bettman is being held on Tuesday at NHL headquarters in New York City, so that gives you some idea as to the shroud of secrecy and the high degree of sensitivity on this particular issue.

The Vancouver Canucks forward met with NHL officials Tuesday in New York seeking reinstatement from his indefinite suspension for his March 2004 on-ice attack on Moore, who was then a member of the Colorado Avalanche. Moore is currently a free agent and hasn't fully recovered from his injuries.

But yes, the Ducks could sure use a power forward!! And the Canucks could sure use goaltending. Between you and me, SC...how about Jiggy and a pick/prospect for Bert??

It would be something to talk about for sure, I just don't know if we seriously would want it.

Doubt Bertuzzi is coming here...But I would be happy.
Mallard and I used to say..
"Bertuzzi makes me whoozie"
and we didn't mean from a hit to the head. heheheheheheh

Seriously, the Ducks need power forwards bad...but Bert does come with a little too much baggage.
