I know there was a thread about this that we were going to get free Center Ice for the 05/06 season. Is this true or do we have to wait when the ratification thing is over? hmm.gif

If it's true, I'm sure they'll address it at the NHL's press conference on Friday. They are supposed to announce not only the new CBA, but also their new marketing plan and I would imagine that, if they intend to do this, that would be a part of it.

FSN2 showed only 40 Duck games the last season they played. KCAL I think did about a dozen.

Most of the rest I only saw because I get Center Ice.

I'm gonna have to get over this "blonde" thing I have going lately.

Off topic, I am getting tired of the Angels not hitting well lately, sorry I am on the game right now.

Center Ice is fantastic, and having Sirius satellite radio is not bad either! This will be the first NHL season I've had Sirius for, but I look forward to being able to hear the radio call of 40 NHL games a week. On my way home, I can listen to a game or two, and if I'm out and about on the weekend I can listen to the games as well! And, it's all part of the Sirius basic package, no extra fee. 40 NHL games a week and every NFL game. Not bad!

Unless this is an old Web page that hasn't been updated yet, it looks like it ain't free, but there's a "special half season" offer ... <link>

i swear, you guys are so lucky! here in england the only nhl games you get to see or hear are possibly twice a week on tv and they are rarely ever duck games...its usually detriot or some other team the channel assumes will grab the audience...and this channel might not even do this programme for the upcoming season!!! so i get the pleasure of waking up in the morning or staying up to watch a web page refresh to see how we're doing...it sucks

oh well...go ducks!!!

Channel 5 shows a lot of the Eastern games because of the time zones. I thought about getting NASN something but the problem is when I'm at uni I wont get to see the games. We don't even get channel 5 so I'm going to be asking my friend to record the games. Still the UK doesn't show enough hockey!

According to the DirecTV website "We will post information regarding the 2005-06 NHL® CENTER ICE® package as soon as it becomes available."

This is taking too long!!!

You've waited a year, another week or two won't make much difference.

For those overseas, I feel for you. We are spoiled over here when it comes to hockey coverage, that's for sure.

However, you can always listen to the games online! It's not great, but it's better than nothing!
