The Sharks had been planning to open training camp Sept. 13, but the NHL is now saying teams can start Sept. 12, so the schedule might change.
One week before that, San Jose will be the host team for a four-day rookie tournament featuring prospects from the Sharks, Phoenix Coyotes, Anaheim Mighty Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.
The teams will compete at Logitech Ice in a round-robin format that leads to a title game. Similar tournaments have been held in recent years in El Segundo and Phoenix.

Not sure if I would trust their dates since they got their locations of the previous tournaments wrong. The tournaments were in El Segundo and Anaheim. Road trip anyone??
