there are so many players now without any teams, look at the free agents kariya, palffy, murray, selanne, then u got people who have been waived like hatcher, holik, whitney, amonte, leclair, mcarthy, turgeon, this is going to be one crazy offseason

It makes the summer more interesting cause you are waiting to hear where these players will be playing in the new season. Also there are sooo many players without a team at the moment its very interesting.

I think 2005 is a better free agency year... with all the rumors thats been going on for the past few weeks, i think we might land a couple of good free agents this year

I read a thing this morning that burke said he doesn't expect it to go crazy until late next week. so seeing FA starts on monday, it seems like he will wait a few days or so to see what everyone is doing or he may suprise us and start signing right away.
I'm still interested to see a some things
1. Where rob's bro ends up (heard he might go to pittsburgh)
2.what happens with forsberg and naslund and if they go together.
3. Adam Foote: he's getting older but can still play well, adds leadership, and can always teach the young ones.
4. who will the wings, coyotes, and kings get as goalies?
5.what kind of big name trades happen with RFA's that have just been given qualifying offers so teams can get rid of them.

I agree with Burke. I think once the draft is over then it will just be a crazy week. Can't wait!

Oh, I think I'd rather go fishing in the Columbia.
Then again, if I could afford it, perhaps, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the North, etc.
Maybe the South Pacific. I understand there are alot of lovely mermaids there.
