According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Jeremy Roenick could be back to Philly by the trading deadline if the Kings are out of playoff contention.

"Tim Panaccio reported the 'future considerations' the Flyers could get back for dealing Jeremy Roenick to the LA Kings could be a draft pick conditional to where the Kings place in the standings. Panaccio suggests, however, that if the Kings are out of the playoff picture by the trade deadline not to be surprised if the future considerations turns into Roenick heading back to the Flyers, who could then afford to pick up the remainder of his salary for the season since most of it would've been paid by the Kings.

Spector's Note: Panaccio called this scenario 'a wild theory but plausible'. I agree."

Just a rumor, but a fun one wink.gif

They'll be really over the cap limit if J.R. came back to Philly in March.

Will they if Kings pay his salary??? hmm.gif

Could we sign (in the same manner, it means leting somebody else pay firsthand) some really good/expensive guys. Then after Washington, Buffalo will not make the play offs get the players. Their salary still paid by Washington & Buffalo, but guys in our line up??? hmm.gif New idea!

I wouldn't think JR would be happy with that, because he said he likes the idea of being closer to his family (which they live in Pheonix).

I believe he can be closer to his family entire season and move to Philly when the real games (play offs) are on. Some other Kings guys could move to Worlds in Europe by the same plan... biggrin.gif
