Remember this only Panger's picks and I still don't see Tampa there without Nikolai in net...however if they got Luongo then I'd have to retract my statement.

Is it me or I'm I missing something?! How does San Jose do nothing in these offseason but still gets considered to be a top pick for winning the Stanley Cup?!

I believe they can do well, but also drop. I think Nabby is overrated... biggrin.gif

Nabby had a great season first started to play for the Sharks but hes kinda gone downhill from there.

Many believe they had quite a good roster last time around. And the team has just matured... hmm.gif

I believe they will face a fall: Rathje, Korolyuk, Ricci gone... It will hurt! biggrin.gif

San Jose has the same guys and the same coach. They can only improve upon what they have with a few tweaks here and there. They are in good shape. The Ducks, on the other hand, are sort of starting from scratch with a lot of new faces and a new guy behind the bench. I think San Jose might surprise a lot of people and be a stealth team.

rolleyes.gif I think I was making the point way back when....having so much change can be brutal. No one knows how the guys will get along or how they will play for the coach....a lot of unknowns. I was one who felt having the same Captain would be a must. I guess we will see come next spring.
I have a feeling that San Jose will be quite competitive this season. noexpression.gif
