Many believe they had quite a good roster last time around. And the team has just matured...

I believe they will face a fall: Rathje, Korolyuk, Ricci gone... It will hurt!

San Jose has the same guys and the same coach. They can only improve upon what they have with a few tweaks here and there. They are in good shape. The Ducks, on the other hand, are sort of starting from scratch with a lot of new faces and a new guy behind the bench. I think San Jose might surprise a lot of people and be a stealth team.

I think I was making the point way back when....having so much change can be brutal. No one knows how the guys will get along or how they will play for the coach....a lot of unknowns. I was one who felt having the same Captain would be a must. I guess we will see come next spring.
I have a feeling that San Jose will be quite competitive this season.
