In couple of interviews in Russian press with Ilya Kovalchuk Ilya seems honestly suprised Dany asked for trade. And he said Dany was very sad and kind of dissapointed... hmm.gif

There were several rumours all summer long and now (they were shot down) and now they spaek of August 9th as a date he did that... hmm.gif

Kovalchuk seemed very much not believing that... hmm.gif

I cannot imagine being responsible for someone's death. Give him a fresh start and see what he can do.

I think as Heatley said he wanted a change of environment in the statement. Maybe Atlanta always gives him memories of Synder. Tragic the whole thing.

IMO I think both teams won this trade. I hope Heatley does well in Ottawa.

Anywho, the Trashers won't be exactly less lethal with Kovalchuk and Hossa thereby on the rink... wink.gif But in my opinions, the Sens won this trade...
