Predators fans attending tonight's preseason game against Carolina will likely get their first look at Paul Kariya.
The speedy left wing has been bothered by a strained groin muscle but practiced yesterday and has been cleared to play. Nashville acquired Kariya, a seven-time NHL all-star, during the offseason.
"He looks fine," Predators Coach Barry Trotz said. "He's excited to be back playing and it'll be nice to see him on the ice."
