Actually, this article is incorrect. According to the Rangers official website he has not been cut. They expect him to miss two weeks is the only comment. I think they'll give him a shot at a pre-season game if the sprain clears up by then.

I'll take a look for the article when I have time, but there were some quotes from the Rangers coach last week saying that Dan was in great shape and doing very well...
