Does anybody know if ESPN or Center Ice are covering the WC for the US markets? TSN is showing Canada's matches but I don't know if Center Ice will show any of the games... :kr:

No coverage that I've heard of....."they" are doing that just to annoy me...Ozolinsh is playing and will be getting hat tricks and all and "they" don't want me to see............ :kr: :rl: :kr:

funny, espn and espn 2 manage to squeeze in golf, tennis, ping pong, poker, lacrosse, bowling, dog races, horse races, the entire nfl draft, basketweaving, juggling, world marble championships, but, gosh darn it, just cant seem to work hockey into the schedule.

It's them Latvians again. In the story about the games, he WAS named. Maybe they thought that he could pull a "Greta Garbo" on them and want to be alone this off season, well maybe not. It's just them Latvians being Latvian but he's in. :th: Thanks for the link, I'm not one to find those things on my own...the other rather funny thing was the two names that appear in the staff listing.......One is my last married name and one has my mothers maiden name. For protection against identity theft....I shall not share those on line....... :wv: :clp:

One of the Latvian posters on another board said that Ozolinsh had been injured. Since his English is not that good, I couldn't quite make out when or how.....figures....woosey Euro.....

Ozie isn't on the team roster, but in the WC preview on the Latvian team page Ozie is mentioned. Something like the "big defenseman" who was injured for much of the year will once again lead the Latvian team. I hope Ozie didn't get injured since that blurb was written.
