And the Sharks win 4-1! Man, Nabokov made some great saves, and Cheechoo had some wonderful oppertunities with tip-ins.

Yay Sharks! :bn:

The Crapalanche looked lost for most of the game. Furby knew these refs weren't going to let him run the game with his goonery. And I'm starting to really hate Abitcher! He's a pr*ck who is going to get knocked on his a$$, by some guy one of these days. He needs to keep his emotions under control.

Sharks win 4-1 :bn: , Salami wasn't even considered good enough to play this game :tb: , and hopefully this will be over soon! :bbn:

Go Sharks! :bn:
:fu: the Crapalanche!

Did you all see that goal by Cheechoo? blink.gif biggrin.gif
Talk about a hi-lite clip!
It was completely cool and pretty!
Between the legs, behind the foot, fooled A"bitch!"
Yeah, yeah, the kids a Shark instead of a Duck but I'm lovin' what he brings to the game.
The Cree Nation can feel much pride in knowing this kid is one of their own. smile.gif

I didn't get to see either of these games, but perhaps the Sharks fans boo'd at Mr. Selanne too much during the first game, and took him off his game? From the Super Stats on Thurday's game, he only had 1 shot on goal for his almost 11 minutes on ice. Only Gratton and Barnaby had less time on ice.

I read or heard somewhere that the traitorous rat was out at least the first two games of this series ... so how's that for conveniently being ready for the first home game of this series?? dry.gif

Cheechoo's goal was fantastic! Boy that kid has talent. And speaking of Abby (or as someone said on DCs), Crabby Abby, I luuuuuuv the way Marleau played with Abby on the GWG. Marleau had so much time, point blank in front of Abby and it looked like he was just toying with Abby until he scored. Great goal.

Go Sharks!!!

still at least 2 games to go to see what results---but heres hoping the avs get swept.

well, kariya and selanne, you got your wish, youre together again [albeit the press box], and on the team you really wanted to be on. and youre down 0-2!! thats what you two get for stabbing your former teams in the back, along with the fans!!!! granted if kariya stayed with anaheim, he still MAY have missed playoffs, which just goes to prove, he was kinda damned regardless---thats karma, paul, and you brought it upon yourself. same goes for selanne.

i say selanne returns to finland, next season, and paul: youre never going to see another frickin $10-million check ever again in your life.

sharks will win the cup, 2004!!!!!

I was at both games. The fans were incredible, though a bit quiet in game two until the second period. It's funny how the Denver Post's version of Foppa and Sakic sitting in the penalty box are different versions of the truth. Now one could say MY version is skewed becasue I went there to root for the Sharks. Not true. I love Forsberg and Sakic, and think they are two of the best players in the league. Sakic boarded the #$%^ out of a Shark. Unfortunately, I didn't see who, as I was at the other end of the arena, but the Av had the #19 on his back, and he whapped the guy into the boards, hence the boarding call. As for Foppa, he flattened Nabby out like a pancake. The first disallowed goal, I'll reserve comment on as I was on the other side of the arean. As to Foppa's various penalties, um, this guy is playing nasty and like a man possessed. HE started out pestering the Sharks, not the other way around. He is whapping, hititng, crunching, whatever. Makes for a fun game. But to say you have no clue as to why you are in the box, that's dumb. I took lots of ics of game one, and am going to post them on my yahoo photos page, and put the link here on All Ducks. So if anyone wants to see them, they can. :>)

Loved the booing of the other sister. Since the great Finnish Flash was a healthy scratch at game two, the crowd more than delighted in booing Foppa all day. That was strange, but the crowd was great. As to someone here commenting about hating Davis Candy Butt, I agree! I hate that flipping guy. The "I must copy EVERY move of Patrick Roy, so maybe I can save goals too" whiny baby is too, too much. I think I may have screamed the loudest and with most joy when they yanked him for Mr. 5 wins 16 losses in the playoffs Salo.

:bx: I too am a Forsberg fan, diving and all. What I've noticed is that when the rest of the team starts to suck, he gets out there and tries to do everything himself. When he starts getting penalties, he knows the team is in trouble and some of the players just " are not giving it their all".
I mean, Blake looked dazed and confused half the time, Footer..well he just may be concussed or something.
Francaise, PLEASE put on the lucky jersey tonight.....please....... :bbn: :bbn: :bbn:

heheheh, yeah, my Patrick Roy jersey. He must secretly be laffing his buttski off. I mean, he leaves Montreal, they never do well again. He leaves the Avs, they choke away their division, yes, really, winning 2 games and losing like 9. Now this. heheheeh...Surely he would never publically admit it, but it must feel nice to be missed.

Welcome back Francaise! It sounds like you had a great time and you brought good karma to the Tank biggrin.gif

I'm sad to say that the Avs so far have been deteriorating into a team of chippy players even Burnaby Joe sad.gif at times. But the Sharks...wow, what a fun team to watch (like the Avs used to be) with their speed and great goal tending.

Can't wait to see your pics!
