He's no Jesse Palmer. True, technically he's a bachelor, but Rick DiPietro said no thanks when "The Bachelor" called to make him their latest centerpiece. The 24-year-old Islanders goalie wants to prove on the ice that he's more than just a pretty boy with an engaging, wisecracking personality that would fit any Farrelly Brothers movie.
DiPietro turned down The Bachelor, but he agreed to do an episode of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," as long as he could include two teammates. He's been on WE Network's "Three Guys and a Movie" with former teammates Dave Scatchard and Steve Webb and has made appearances at events for such magazines as FHM. Outtakes from his spot on MSG Network - in which he went around the Islanders training camp site in Nova Scotia interviewing the locals - were hilarious.

The Islanders are my 3rd fave NHL team, so I often watch their broadcasts. DiPietro is very personable (and not too shabby looking either) and fun to watch both as a player and a personality. It cracks me up that he's gonna be on "Queer Eye." Can't wait to see the episode!
EDIT: I forgot to post the link. I need more caffeine.
