CBJ: Brule out 6 weeks with bruised sternum.
MIN: Gaborik's return on hold for at least 10 more days.

48 players with injueries...17 of those groin injuries
2 players suspended
1 player missing for religious reasone
soo...at least 52 players out ...ouch

Yes, that's exactly what it is. Most of the players that have groin injuries right now did not play at all last year. And, a lot of them older players. Not a coincedence.

Vigier broke the bone in a game Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs but still played the following night against the New York Rangers.
Vigier's stint on the injured list is retroactive to Saturday. He has played in all six games this season, getting one assist.

While trying to stop a breakaway by Columbus' Nikolai Zherdev, Sharks goaltender Evgeni Nabokov was rammed by teammate Christian Ehrhoff, who was trailing the play, and driven into the boards. Nabokov stayed on the ice for several minutes, then got up and played for one minute before skating into the dressing room. He did not return.
Sharks officials said he had upper-body stiffness and would undergo tests.
