Ok im bored and at uni in which im supposed to be working...oh well...so i'll make a game for us allducks.

I will start and the rules are as following:

I will think of a name of any player that has ever played (or is playing) in the NHL. I will give two clues about this player and there can only be one guess made by each person, and there can only be 5 guesses made for each player. If the guess is correct then the person that guessed it correctly will get 3 points and the turn of thinking of a player is then passed to this person. If no one guesses correctly then the person that originally thought of the player gets 3 points.oh and when its you go to think of a person lets not make it too hard biggrin.gif . include things like nationality, position, points total in seasons etc.

Ok i think i made the rules clear....if you think more rules should be added then please suggest.....I'll start with the following clues:

A ukraine(not russian smile.gif )-born player and current NHLer
Put up three 80+ point seasons for a team before moving to 2 different teams in 2 consecutive seasons (one of them was with the senators)

All I can think of is Yashin. There aren't a lot of 80 pt. season guys from Russia who have played with the Sens. However, I know that is wrong.

When i say that the player produced three 80+ point seasons on a team does not necessarily mean that they were his only seasons on that team smile.gif

edited: ok everyone, im an idiot, i screwed up. the player was born in ukraine. Sorry!!!!!! sad.gif So as a result of my mistake Mrs.Bevo can have her guess back! biggrin.gif

I was confused too... I tried and searched the fact for a long time... To say Bondra is Russian born may be an insult... Some guys take it like that... Peter is Slovak citizen born in Soviet Socialist Republic of Ukraine. hmm.gif

Getting Bondra did take a lot of research. I'm not sure I should be doing the second since I leave early on Fridays but here goes:

1 - This former Calder winner is no longer playing.
2 - He was born in Niagara Falls, Ont. (about 50 minutes from my hometown).
3 - At one point in his career, he was the highest paid athlete in the world, (according to Wikipedia.)

Good luck!!

Derek Sanderson, calder in 1968, year after Bobby Orr, also with the Bruins. Salary was $2.6 million in 1972 with a WHA team, which even surpassed soccer star Pele's salary!

I'll have to think about the next clue.

Thanks MrsBevo. The Turk would be proud. I hear he's a banker now helping young athletes save their money so they don't end up going broke twice like he did.
