Now, Amonte gets the chance to beat his former team as the Flames look to move closer to the franchise record for consecutive wins when they face the Chicago Blackhawks.
Amonte scored in the first period and set up McCarty's goal in the third as the Flames posted a 3-1 victory over the Western Conference-leading Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night.

Martin would no doubt like to bring his team into the Corel Centre under better circumstances. The Panthers have dropped nine a row, the franchise's longest losing streak since a span of 13 consecutive losses during the 1997-98 season.
Martin, of course, was fired in April 2004 after nine seasons coaching the Senators, during which time he compiled a regular season record of 341-235-96. He won the Jack Adams Award for NHL coach of the year in 1998-99.

A sit-down pow-wow in the crease?? Maybe they're going to play rock-paper-scissors in order to determine if the puck goes in or not?
