Enjoying an Oilers game starts with two simple, yet magical words. Free tickets.

Surely, you or someone you know must know somebody who knows a guy who used to tend sheep for the cousin of Oilers goalie Jussi Markkanen's former feng shui consultant in Lapland. That means you and the Finnish netminder are practically related. So tap into your pipeline for a couple of gratis ducats.
...
Bet your pal a $5.75 pop that you can name the Oiler who will be last off the ice after the pre-game skate. (It's always Ryan Smyth). Bet him another glass of hops you can predict how many pucks Smyth will give away to kids just before he leaves the ice at the end of the pre-game skate. (It's always three.)

Free tickets. Free beer. You're off and running.

Ryan Smyth, seen before last night's game with the Minnesota Wild, throws three pucks into the crowd for young fans after the pre-game skate at every Oilers home game. Edmonton went on to lose the game 4-2.
