I voted both - but I also highly doubt Burke will fire Carlyle. As for trades, it's obvious that the team needs to be changed in some way.

Burke would never fire his own friend would he?! I hope he does and starts to look at some other coaches.

if you looked at our team at training camp and you look at it now, some changes have been done

I don't sense that he'll fire Carlyle. I do know that Burke will continue to make outrageous statements, he'll continue to play around with the salary and do his best to get Bertuzzi in the off-season and I do know that he'll trade anyone for anything, esp. if he isn't happy with them.

Somehow I don't think Burke's done remaking this team - although it probably won't all come at once. I'm predicting some transactions into the summer too.

I see no reason why Randy Carlyle should be fired. The guy is in his first season as an NHL head coach, he's got the team with more wins than losses more than halfway through the season and he's had to deal with the trading of two of the most talented wingers on the team for very little in return. In addition, he's had the boys playing hard all season despite all the turmoil with the roster.
Carlyle has done nothing to warrant being fired over, and if anything his dismissal would turn the Ducks into a joke. Like the Islanders are proving you cannot just fire the coach every time your team struggles. Let's see what Carlyle can do with an actual NHL roster, not nine third line grinders, two rookies and Teemu Selanne.
