Stop me if you've heard this one before:

Turco starts in goal for the Dallas Stars and lets in 3 goals. The Stars are down 3-0 and replace Turco with Hedberg. The score is now tied 3-3.

Sound familiar? blink.gif

Oh BTW, the Detroit-Dallas game is tied 3-3. (Forgot to mention Detroit had a 3-0 lead over Dallas in the 1st).

Whoa. It's 5-3 Dallas with less than 12 minutes to go in the 3rd.

Whoops. Make that 6-3 now. Legace is replacing Osgood. blink.gif

It's official: 6-3 Dallas over Detroit.

Dallas Finnish guys have been amazing:

Miettinen. Scored a goal and GW penalty shot against us.

Lehtinen. Scored twice tonight, 1st star tonight.

Hagman. Started Stars rally in 0:3.

Kapanen. Assisted Hagman goal + scored 1 himself.

Jokinen. Assisted first Lehtinen goal.

Amazing. Fintastic 5!!! clap.gif

It takes a bit of the edge off. Can't wait for the comments from Babcock and the players later biggrin.gif Probably along the lines of "we had this game in hand and let it slip out... we underestimated them ... we didn't come prepared to play... what the Duck players said..." You know, the usual wink.gif

It would be fun to be in the Detroit room right now as Babcock addresses the team... biggrin.gif

Here are some of Detroit's "explanations:"
QUOTE
"I don't know what happened," said Babcock after the Red Wings blew a 3-0 lead in a 6-3 loss to Dallas on Sunday night. "We lost our composure and turned the puck over and just couldn't get settled down again."

QUOTE
"They switched goalies and Hedberg came in and played really good," Zetterberg said. "We had some good chances and he made the saves."

Yup. It sounds familiar.

* Columbus destroyed Phoenix in the desert 5-2
* Fedorov with 4 assists (good for him) and the 4th was his 600th assist (well done)
* Berard with a hat trick

Here's another one for the "sounds familiar" department. Today's shootout win was Roberto Luongo's first shootout win of the season, as was the Panthers'. And before today, the Panthers only had 5 road wins. hmm.gif
