He stopped the low shots. He smothered those directed at his chest. And he always seemed square to the shooter when he let a rebound get away from him.

Evgeni Nabokov was always in position. Now, that's the bottom line when you are talking about the San Jose Sharks' fifth-year goaltender. Always there. Always ready to pounce on his opponent's next scoring chance

The upcoming matchup is gonna be tuff. SJ has Nabby, Cheechoo, Marleau, Damphousse and a few others I like. Not to mention their coach, Ron Wilson.

Calgary has Kiprusoff, Iginla, Conroy, Gelinas and also others. Besides, Calgary is Canada's last best hope in these playoffs. It seems like most of Canada has jumped on the Flames bandwagon. biggrin.gif

Definitely a difficult one to pick who I want to win. I will meditate on this. biggrin.gif

I'll be in Calgary a week from today for five days. I know who I'll be rooting for (as I value my health...)

Don't the Flames have Jordan Leopold and Mike Commodore, a couple of former Ducks, in their lineup?

Going to Calgary for the games DK?

No, have to attend a wedding. It's just a coincidence. I doubt that I could find (or afford) tix. It would be awesome to, though.
