They forgot Minnesota too! They are tied with the Sharks with 69 points and could get in the post-season too.

20 games left. Maximum points: 109

10 home games and 10 on the road. 8 games against the teams out of play off race. 4 games against teams clearly in. Key games: Home (Kings (2), Avalanche, Canucks and Mighty Ducks), Away (Avalanche, Kings, Canucks).

ducks.gif We only have 1 game with the Fish left. At their home ice in the very end. And the difference in points currently -5. 1 game in reserve. Our game could mean nothing (if either team is out) or then everything as we meet on April 15th... Fish can not catch us themselves, they need help from us stumbling!

My prediction: 97-99 points.

17 games left. Maximum points: 108

9 home and 8 road games left. 6 games with teams without a hope (half of them with Minnesota who seem not to accept that evaluation of mine). 2 games against Detroit (who may rest anybody when they want to)... Key games: H (Flames (2), Canucks, Kings, Mighty Ducks, Avalanche); A (Canucks (2), Avalanche).

Absolute culmination of the season: 3 games in the row with Vancouver Canucks from March 21st to March 25th.

ducks.gif Like Fish also Oil has their game #81 @ home against us. And as in previous note - this game could mean everything or nothing (if Oil or us are out)... Oil is in a weaker position in comparison with us... They need help from other teams...

My prediction: 96-98 points.

10 hames home and 7 on the road. 3 with teams with no hope and 3 against teams certainly in. Key games: H (Oilers (2), Kings, Flames, Mighty Ducks, Sharks, Avalanche); A (Oilers, Mighty Ducks, Kings, Sharks).

Again this Oil run is the key point of the season. Also injuries (Cloutier, Jovanovski, Salo).

Minnesota has as much chance to play in play offs as Fedoruk to win the scoring title... wink.gif None. But it is a nice team that can rob some big points from our rivals... bye2.gif min.png

16 games left. Maximum points: 101.

8 games home and 8 on the road. 2 against teams out of race and 4 against teams certainly in play offs. Key games: H (Oilers (2), Flames (2), Sharks); A (Oilers, Canucks (2), Flames, Avalanche).

ducks.gif Our series this season are over.

With only maximum points -101- being near most of the teams in the race end with their actual points, it is hard to believe Minny has any chance. They are currently 5 points out of play offs race and have no games in hand in comparison of any teams above. In away they trail Calgary (12 to 16 points), Colorado (1 game in hand still!, 9 to 11 points), Los Angeles (8 points), Vancouver (7 points), Anaheim (5 to 11 points), Edmonton (5 to 7 points) and San Jose (2 to 8 points). It would be hard to catch any of the teams ahead, but even that is not enough... Minny should be able to catch at least 3... This is not even a miracle, thisis just not possible. So my verdict is: not in the race as a racer, but as a disturbing/helping factor!

My prediction: 84-86 points.

With the Western Confrence going as it is, the playoff spots could go to alot of teams. It will come down to the line for most. Here's who i think will end up in the playoffs, feel free to give your opinions.

1. Detroit
2. Dallas
3. Calgary
4. Nashville
5. Colorado
6. ANAHEIM
7. Vancouver
8. LA

Any disagreement? Lets hear it!

Hey Ahti, I don't know if the Ducks will be providing these handouts at each of the remaining home games, but before tonight's game, they provided a nice chart of the Western Conference playoffs race with the schedule and games left information.
