I'm not so sure about the
Basically Colorado will play their 69th or 68th game, same with LA and we'll play our 68th game tonight. If a victory will occur tonight (for us) does this mean we'll be 5th seeded?

If the Queens lose tonight and we win, we will have the 6th seed!!!

Chance to see your ex-Ducks in action tonight for the Rangers (Ozolinsh, Sykora, and Rucchin)

A part of me thinks the same way, but on the other hand, if the Queens lose, it will make it more likely for the Ducks to get into the playoffs (as of right now). It's so hard to know!

Late Breaking Updates and Notes for Monday, March 20
Canadiens defenceman Francis Bouillon will undergo an MRI Monday to determine the extent of the damage he sustained to his left ankle as a result of a crash into the boards in Saturday night's contest. He woke up Sunday with pain in his ankle, and although x-rays following Saturday's game were negative, there does seem to be something more serious than a bruise with Bouillon's foot. - Montreal Gazette
Tim Connolly practiced fully with the Sabres before they flew to Georgia, but he couldn't say whether he'll play tonight against the Thrashers. There's still a strain in his left medial collateral ligament. Maxim Afinogenov missed practice because of illness but looked like he should play against the Thrashers.
Leafs winger Alexei Ponikarovsky missed Sunday night's 1-0 win over Pittsburgh because of the flu. He is day-to-day - Toronto Sun
Defenseman Ryan Whitney missed Sunday night's game against the Maple Leafs with a strained neck. He is day-to-day for the time being. - Pittsburgh Tribune Review
Wings netminder Manny Legace was ill on Sunday with flu-like symptoms. He participated in Sunday's morning workout but felt the beginnings of the flu. Chris Osgood got the start Sunday night against Vancouver. Legace should be able to return for Tuesday's matchup against Nashville. - Detroit Free Press
Stars blueliner Janne Niinimaa has a twisted left ankle. It is likely that he will sit out Monday's game with Anaheim. Stephane Robidas may take his place. Niinimaa is day-to-day. - Dallas Morning News
The Colorado Avalanche will learn more on Monday how significant the knee injury to Alex Tanguay is. He injured his knee in the first period Sunday against San Jose. - Denver Post
Goalie Hannu Toivonen practiced with his Bruin teammates on Sunday for the first time since January 5 when he sustained a high right ankle sprain. He will likely not be ready to return to the Boston lineup until the end of the month. Forward P.J. Axelsson skated Sunday for the first time since he sustained a knee injury on March 1. He hopes to return to action some time next week. - Boston Herald/Globe
Thrashers forward Scott Mellanby is expected to return to action Monday against the Sabres after missing Saturday's game with the flu. - Atlanta Journal Constitution
