With these games coming up with Edmonton and Vancouver in the next few days it's very hard to figure what to wish for. Stay focused, lvsprt, the Ducks have to beat the Preds. smile.gif

I've decided to pick one team (the 'Nucks) and root for them throughout the 3 game series. Not that it really matters who I root for. rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif

Let's go det.png stl.gif van.png!!! And of course, no OT (unless you're the Ducks and you were behind by 3 goals twice in the game biggrin.gif )!!! pray.gif

I'm going to go along with the Nucks as well. I just don't like the Oilers expecially after the early games in the season we played against them dry.gif

I have to go with Vancouver. It's not that I don't like the Oilers, it's that I REALLY dislike some of their players like Pronger, Peca, Smyth...

Thursday's game was the 3,000th regular season game in St. Louis franchise history. Bob Plager, who has been with the Blues organization since the first game and scored the first assist and had the first penalty minute, dropped the ceremonial puck.

Leopold was credited with the first goal of the game but a scorer's change in the break between periods took it away. The goal was credited Darren McCarty.
,,,
Reinhard Divis came in to relieve Lalime, who was beaten when Leopold redirected a shot by Jamie Lundmark for a power-play goal.

"I ended up coming back to redeem myself," said Leopold, who had played in 69 games this season. "After the period in the locker, Tony Amonte came in and said, 'I think I got a piece of that one.' It was a kind of a running joke I guess.
